Curling Iron Catastrophey

So when I got home yesterday I had nothing to do so I thought I would try to curl my hair.

I got into the shower and washed my hair, dried it, and got right to it.

At first it was going well.

It was actually pretty nice.

Then Amy came in.

She wanted to help. At first I said no, but I can't deny her.
So I let her help....
BIG MISTAKE!
So here's what happened.......
FIRST:MY HAIR BURNT A LITTLE.
not that big a deal but....
SECOND:I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WOULD BE BETTER IF I CUT THE DEAD END OFF.
Well, I couldn't see the damage that well so I asked Amy's opinion.

She said that I should just cut it.
Oh why did I listen to her??
Turns out that after I cut it off I was able to see that the hair wasn't even dead!
AND my hair was wayyyyyy toooooo short!!!

OK...get over that already.
I figured that I may as well finish what I started, so I plugged up the bigger curling iron to do the top part of my hair.
At about this time Noeline called me downstairs to set the table.
My lovable, but trouble making little sister remained upstairs in my room.
About 3 minutes after I went downstairs Amy came down.
I asked her if she turned off the iron.
Of course she didn't!
So about 2 more minutes later i went to check on it.
ahhhh!!!
THIRD:IT OVER HEATED. AND MELTED!
FORTH:I TRIED TO FIX IT AND IT BROKE IN HALF.

What else could have gone wrong?
A lot.
You see, it wasn't my curling iron.
It was Noeline's.
And..I didn't ask to use it.

*thinking that i should have* no, should i?
no. you dont have to be scared.
*just sits there*
youre suppose to say, "i aint SKIERRED (thats scared)!!"

So I went and told Noeline.
She wasn't upset that I broke it but that I hadn't asked.
But by the end of the night it was as if nothing happened.

AND OMGGG!
The worst part was this morning.
FIFTH: ALL THE OUTLETS IN MY ROOM SHORT-CIRCUIT-ED!
What else!?!
When I got out of the shower my hair drier wouldn't come on.
I called Amy in.
We tried all the other plugs and they didn't work either.
We thought that it was the hair drier.
We tried the lamp and phone charger.
NO luck.
All the sockets were out!!
uhhh!
So I told my parents and all was ok.
BUT COME ON!!
ALL THIS BECAUSE I WANTED TO CURL MY HAIR.
I NOW KNOW FOR SURE: NOTHING GOOD COMES OF CURLING IRONS
